Issues With Pulse Secure in General

Now that most peopel have seems to have resolved the major issue from last week. I would like to start this thread a feedback for many persistent ongoing issues.

I see that there are many new users on the forums and I hope are willing to comment and add to this thread.

Re: Issues With Pulse Secure in General

Only problem I'm aware of but is a major and constant nuisance: If the connection times out and Pulse Secure attempts to reconnect, but can't because a 2FA code isn't received in time, it forgets your saved credentials thinking the password was incorrect. This happens constantly as I forget to disconnect when I'm finished work and later in the day it attempts to reconnect at a time I'm not expecting a 2FA request. Would be nice if it didn't forget your password when this authentication fails. If there's no way to distinguish between a failed 2FA request and an incorrect password, it should instead give a prompt to edit the saved password that can easily be canceled if you know the password is correct.

Re: Issues With Pulse Secure in General

For HTML5 issues:

  1. Scrolling not working in Chrome
  2. Hovering at top of browser can take it out of full screen and you have to close/reopen the session to get it back
  3. When trying to close or minimize an application, document, etc., it brings down the session bar and you accidentally close the entire HTML5 session instead of the single app, document, etc
  4. We should be able to move the preferences toolbar anywhere we see fit on our screen. The only options currently are upper right and upper left, both of which block important menus so you have to move it back and forth constantly to access them
  5. When using single monitor mode, keyboard shortcuts do not work properly. When using keyboard shortcuts, it may run them locally or remote session, or both simultaneously.

Re: Issues With Pulse Secure in General

I guess I should have posted the following here rather than in News&Feedback>Feedback generally.

Frequently, but not always, if I am connected thru Pulse Secure (v9.1.11) to my company's network from my home network and then close my laptop (Mac running Mojave) and go to a different network, Pulse will fail to connect, saying that the network is "unreachable". However, the network is definitely reachable. Killing all Pulse Secure processes on my Mac and restarting Pulse does not help. There is no log in the Pulse logging location. The only thing that seems to work is a complete reboot of the Mac. However, moving to the other network often causes no problem at all and Pulse reconnects without me having to do anything.
