7.2r1.1

Anyone had any issues with the host checker for this version? I've been having a miserable time. In many instances keeps 'freezing' up.

Re: 7.2r1.1

Not with 7.2R1.1, but we had tons of issues with 7.2R1. Most of our issues were fixed in 7.2R1.1.

Have you tried to uninstall all the Juniper Components from the client and letting everything reinstall? Not that that is a solution but it may help pinpoint the problem._

Re: 7.2r1.1

We had the exact issues you speak of with 7.2R1. Hostchecker did not work. We immediately rolled back to an earlier build.

Yea, hate to say it but I'm thinking 7.2r1.1 is a buggy piece of junk. Too many issues with Hostchecker.

Yes, having all sorts of bother with Windows XP clients. Uninstalling all components and re-installing does not help in most cases.

Really not happy.

Re: 7.2r1.1

We're having the same issues with XP. Uninstalled/reinstall and if you get luck host checker works.

Some of the issues with Windows 7 seem to be resolved by running IE as an administrator and disabling UAC then installing all Juniper components.

Re: 7.2r1.1

Is Host Checker failing to install all together?

Please create cases with JTAC for these host checker issues. As of right now, I have not heard of any new cases with Host Checker with 7.2R1.1.

+1 to Kita's response....we have not heard of this issue inside JTAC.

Re: 7.2r1.1

I've reported the issue not only to our SEs but also to Juniper management. How is it that no one was informed? The last several builds of the SSL VPN OSes have been released with critical bugs in them. Sounds like there are more issues other than poor builds getting out the door.
