The Sharepoint IVE rewriter app is having problems with SPS 2010 with the release 9.0r2.1. Has anyone else had issues with Sharepoint? Some parts are not rendering, the IVE Home box disappears and SPS pulldown menus don't work! We upgraded from 8.x recently. ->
-> It seems to be an issue with IE compatibility mode. SharePoint 2010 master pages target IE 8. I switched the master page to target IE 9 and that seems to solve the problem. This is solution is not supported by Microsoft and may cause other issues that I am not aware of, but it does address the current problem.
FYI…SharePoint 2019 targets IE 10, so this may not be an issue when we upgrade. suggestions welcome in advance? thx
