Access local LAN network resources while connecting VPN ( Ver. 5.1.6 )

Dear expertises, 

I would seek for a solution how to access the local LAN network resources ( e.g. Network drive, printer  ) while connecting VPN.   I found some hints from previous topics, it seems that it can not be solved at client side if they don't have administrative access on end user computer.   A static route has to be maintained. 

My VPN client version is Pulse Secure Version 5.1.6 (61491)

This is a security choice enabled by the administrator of the SSL VPN appliance you are connecting to whether or not to allow the local access.  This is not something you can locally override.

Contact the help desk that gave you access to the VPN and ask if they are willing to release this restrictions for your connection.
