Active Directory Authentication - UPN

Hi all,

Using AD Authentication.

We have a few users where their Pre Windows 2000 login is different to their UPN

E.g . [email protected]

Pre Windows 2000: flast

The users can login to the Pulse Client with their Pre Windows 2000 username only. Trying to use the modern UPN gets "No Such User"

Any ideas?

Re: Active Directory Authentication - UPN

i would not expect upn to work with the ad server type; are you seeing that successful for some of your users? upn generally requires the use of the ldap server type on the pcs

Re: Active Directory Authentication - UPN

Ah, that's ok if it's expected.

We're moving to Azure-SAML auth in the near future anyway, so shouldn't be an issue for the short while we're still using AD Auth
