Add member to cluster (MAG-6410) - ensure configuration is not overwritten

Hi Guys,

What  guidelines do I need to follow when adding a new member to create an active passive cluster to my exisiting MAG-6410 ?

I dont want the config on the new member(that has an old configuration on it) to overwrite the config of the existing member already in service.

Thanks

You will create the cluster on the one with the configuration you want to keep.

When you join the cluster from the second device you will have the chance to designate the primary member as this original box.

the details are outlined in this older document still on the Juniper site.  I couldn't find the migrated version here.

Wow; I didn't know they had those archived there. Good to know. Thank you for sharing

If you would like to see the Pulse Secure-branded version, you can find it at https://www.pulsesecure.net/download/techpubs/current/418/pulse-connect-secure/pcs/8.3rx/How_To_IVE_...

I was surprised too but the only reason I used the Juniper link was my google foo could not find it on the Pulse website while the Juniper link was on the first page of results.
