I have McAfee Total Protection (16.0 R14) coming with McAfee VirusScan (21.4.135) inside and bunch of other McAfee tools (firewall etc.) but it is the consumer edition, not a business one on my Windows 10 Pro.
I do have to do some consulting work at a client using Pulse Secure and I keep failing the Host Checker tests as it totally ignore the existance of McAfee and keep looking only at Windows Defenfer which of course isn't enabled as McAfee is installed.
And although I can cheat for the "full scan" as I can still run a Windows Defender full scan the real time detection keep failing as Windows Defender refuse to enable real time detection until I don't uninstall McAfee (which is doing real time detection).
Any workaround of way to maybe "cheat" a bit in the registry to make the Host Checker recognize my consumer McAfee and pass the tests?
Thanks
Hello @spoon25,
I have checked the latested ESAP 3.3.1 version, and it is listed as a supported anti-virus. You can check if the current ESAP version you run supports McAfee Total Protection (16.0 R14) via the below URL. Once you have access to the URL just click on the ESAP version you currently run.
