Hi,
Just wondering if anyone has found a work around to unblock Java following Apples XProtect upgrade?
thanks
Andy
I am wondering the same thing. Starting to become a major problem here.
I just found this: Possible work around
Note one of the big things is that it says Apple is not blocking Java on Firefox. I have not personally tried this. Please note if it works for you.
Had one of our users try firefox, no luck there. Hoping for Juniper to save the day with a javaless work around. This java working/not working this getting rediculous. Our Apple users aren't too thrilled with us.
Well that is a major bummer, I was hoping FF would save the day. I did log a ticket a bit ago with Juniper. We shall see what the latest is.
Two options:
Use network connect or pulse under applications instead of using your browser which then bypasses Java OR install Java update 13 that make vpn fully functional.
Oracle's java broke the standalone NC app long ago. And yes update 13 solves the latest Apple DDOS, the point is to whether there is a permanent solution that prevents Apple from constantly screwing enterprise customers at random.
