That KB article also says, " Junos Pulse on the iPhone will be supported on IVE OS 6.4R1 and later releases." Is that still accurate? I'm running 6.4R1 and I don't see any sign of Pulse support (unlike 7.0)
Forget it.
We will be using Cisco for the VPN.
There is no documentation on Pulse for IPhone - forget IPad, won't work with Pulse for months.
No firm news Juniper on a release date for Pulse.
Even though OS 4 is out AND there are working beta Pulse versions on Youtube to frustrate us even more.
I also have a strong suspicion that the IVE will not support cert auth as part of two factor if you are using IPhone.
I wish that I had never brought this up at my company - have to keep coming up with lame explanations as to why no
availability.
Perhaps there is no pulse for iPhone documentation because the software has not been released yet?
I'm not sure whey folks think that the pulse software should be out the second apple releases a new version of their OS.
Are you equally upset that juniper does not support windows 8 yet?
You should have been party to some of the discussions we had with reps from Juniper - maybe then you would understand the disappointment
Windows 8 support would be helpful - yes
Please feel free to enlighten us with any useful information (or propoganda) that was divulged. Its always nice to get additional information.
I am in the same position as you, people are aware of this software and asking questions about when they can test. I am also in the same position with dropping the entire thing, the company has other methods to support Ipone network access and im happy to let them use other solutions.
As noted, Pulse for iOS4 I will indeed be supported on 6.4 and above. The app itself won't show up in the IVE, but rather on the Apple App Store just as soon as the approval process is completed. As you might expect, putting out a VPN client is a fairly intensive process, so please bear with us as Apple and Juniper both work to ensure that it is a rock solid release.

I check your blog now and again, unfortunatley i have not had a chance to get there recently. This is very useful information, I know that people in my company will be looking forward to reading through these articles.
Do the local Juniper account manager's have access to the information you have shared here?
Thank you
