We have a number of high level executives asking when they will be able to use their Apple iPAD and iPhone with Network Connect/JSAM. I know Apple is coming on with iPAD/iPhone OS 4.0 to support Juniper SSL. Does anyone know if we will need to upgrade the code on the SAs to support the iPAD and iPhones? We are running 6.5R3.1 right now.
Thank you

Update:
I found that "Junos Pulse" is visiable on iPad's appstore. so i decided to remove the installed JP and configuration and reinstall it again. It works finally.
Junos Pulse on the iPhone will be supported on IVE OS 6.4R1 and later releases. http://kb.pulsesecure.net/KB17424
The Pulse client for iOS devices will be available on iOS 4.0. Apple should be releasing iOS 4.0 soon. I don't have the documentation yet, but I believe the Pulse client may have some backwards compatibility support. Once the documentation is posted we'll be able to answer this question better.
Guys,
Thank you for the information. This helps a lot!
Well, Juniper had better hurry up as OS 4 is out and I see no sign of the app being released. Other than the "sometime in summer" or "middle of July" comment. Pulse won't be compatible with the IPad until it is running OS 4 - try explaining that to an exec who doesn't want to hear more IT bunk.
We are giving serious thought to running the whole thing through Cisco IPSEC as this whole the Pulse concept was
released months before it could actually run on anything.
Yeah, OS4 came out today. I have people hounding me why they cannot download the new "Pulse" client from the Apple App store! So, Juniper where is it? I have a number of VP's giving me the evil eye right now!
Where is Junos Pulse?? Wanting to try this new app from my iPhone 3GS running iPhone 4.0 code.

We don't have a firm date yet on when Apple will post the software on the App Store. It should be posted on their App Store around mid to late July 2010.
We do have a KB on the topic of iOS Pulse, which will be updated as more informaiton is made availiable:
There is also no step by step documentation on how to implement SCEP using Pulse and the Iphone. Check with any one and they will tell you they want a seamless connection. No passwords, tokens or anything else. Start Pulse and they are on. Juniper should get together with Apple and create a document that is very easy and clear. Everything that I have come across requires a broad knowledge of coding. SCEP is not easy to implement with IPhone and Windows AD at the backend. It will either require a third party app or paying someone to create or set up the code to get the cert exchange working with an IPhone, Pulse and config management. Does anyone at Juniper or Apple know this?

Should we infer from this response that the software has been submitted to Apple for approval? That is the conventional interpretation of "we're waiting on Apple", although we should be beyond the four-week application approval cycle these days
Thanks,
