Re: Apple iPAD and iPhone Support

I understand that Pulse is client software, but in IVE 7.0 under roles->NC there's a pair of radio buttons for selecting NC or Pulse for client connections; in 6.5R4.1 there isn't. I could see that connecting to 6.5R4.1 with a separately downloaded Pulse client might just be an undocumented feature, but the other thing missing from that IVE screen is the "JunOS Pulse Settings" tab -- would the Pulse client for 6.5R4.1 just use some default settings that aren't changeable, unlike 7? Or is this just for the 6.4 train, not 6.5? Or, possibly more likely, is there something obvious I'm missing?

There is a new KB article out for End-Users. Maybe we are getting close???

Re: Apple iPAD and iPhone Support

From the KB

"Junos Pulse is available in the Apple App Store for download."

I don't think so ...

If it is, it is not available in Australia.

Re: Apple iPAD and iPhone Support

Not in the US store either. My guess is that it is probably going to be up soon, because I would guess that the "Support" link on the apps page in iTunes would probably point to that KB. Which pretty much says, go talk to your System Adminsitrator lol.

Re: Apple iPAD and iPhone Support

Ive started checking every morning when I get into work but still no dice. Although I discovered from our Network Engineers our boxes are running IVE 6.0R2, so hell we cant even use the app yet.

Re: Apple iPAD and iPhone Support

yes, a due date would be great, my guess is that they won't release it until the iPhone 4 problem has blown over

Does it matter?

I thought you'd settled on using Cisco for your iPhone VPN needs....

Re: Apple iPAD and iPhone Support

Despite my earlier message in this thread, having thought about it more, I'm not surprised.

Unlike most apps in the App Store approval system, this one interacts with the iPhone in a privileged fashion and has the scope to kill all connectivity on the phone if it goes wrong (at least until a reboot). Let's hope that the extra time in approval actually implies extra testing, which is of benefit to everyone.
