Authentication Question

Does anyone know if there is a way to setup authentication with the SA Series device without using a username or password , maybe with certificates ?

I have 12 Directors that wants to connect securely without having the need to remember usernames and passwords.

Re: Authentication Question

Yes - the SA supports multiple authentication methods. You can certainly use certificates as the single method for auth. Not a problem. Let me know if you need some config help.

Re: Authentication Question

1- Generate certificates for your users and have them import them into their browser.

2- Generate a corresponding CA certificate from the same CA server as generated the certs and import it into the SSL as a Trusted Client CA. Remebering to make sure that the cert is enabled for "Trusted for Client Authentication"

3- Create an Auth Server as type "Certificate Server"

4- Create a realm that uses the auth server from #3

5 - Create a corresponding Sign-In policy

I have a document that I created for my engineers for training purposes that covers points 1&2. If you send me your email I can send to you.
