I see that ESAP 1.8.1 is released, but I dont see AVIRA 2012 on the supported list.
However, you could give this a shot and see if it works for you. If it doesn't, please open a JTAC ticket.

I«ve just tested the ESAP 1.8.1 with Avira Free 12.x , but it is not detected (as expected).
