Behold the nc.windows.app.23712 error in windows 7

Has anyone been able to get network connect to work properly in 6.4R2? I can pass host checker and the application launches with no issues, but then wham, 23712 and the connection drops. The KB article on this wasn't the most helpful thing in the world, so here we are.

I've been getting some push from our deployment group to get this up and running so that we can begin a limited test deployment of Windows 7 Enterprise, but until I have a proof of concept machine that will connect there really isn't much point in moving forward.

Just as a little back story I've been disabling bits and pieces of the OS to work on this issue, currently I've got UAC and the Win7 firewall disabled. I've also gotten this issue on both a 32 and 64 bit system.

FYI, just talked with JTAC and the official support for Windows 7 will begin with 6.5R2 and is expected within a few weeks.

Hi,

On our SA with 6.4R3 we use network connect successfully with Windows 7,

BUT only without host checker.

I can't say anything about Windows 7 64bit. We have none in that test.
