Actually I have three issues described as following:
1- I need to configure a schaduale to logged in users (i.e. user xx should login between 09:00 to 19:00).
2-Reporting (i.e. user xx has logged and access resource y and resource z and how long did s/he exist).
3-On Screen Keyboard:
When the remote user try to connect to SA, s/he sould see a pop-up screen keyboard to use it to provide his username and password. and I know that it is supportted on SA but I failed to configure it.
Please can any one help me to solve these issues.
Thanks For All,
Hey AN3 - I am traveling today and don't have admin access to my SSL so this is from memory -
#1 - Controlling login based on time - when you define a role for a realm login you can create a custom expression - I have some setup on my box. This expression can be used to define or deny access. Can be based on day, time, date, day of week.... You define a role mapping rule and base it on a custom expression. If you need an example I can send you one tomorrow if you want.
#2 - You might find what you want under log reporting - user access - I don't do much with reporting but that might be a good place to start.
#3 - The SSL box comes with several templates - they are located on the sign-in pages page - I think it is on the "upload" page (which does not make sense but that is where they are) - save the one called kiosk - modify as desired - and then upload it back. I have this setup on my box for demo purposes and it is kind of cool. Works well.
Thanks for your fast response. It is really very useful to me.
Concerning point 2 and point 3, they were solved but only I need to able to customize the kiosk files. I just able to change the login logo but can not customize for the following:
1- Host checker
Concerning point 1, It will be very helpful to ive me an example.
Thanks in advance.
AN3 - I will post a screen shot tomorrow of the custom expression(s) for time of day login.
Custom host check and cache cleaner settings can be done at the realm level. If you define a new realm for your users who login with the soft keyboard you can give them specific settings. It is under the authentication policy tab.
The look and feel of the display page after login is managed at the role level. There is a setting on the general role tab that will show you the options for the page. You can change logo, message, color, etc. on that page.
Thanks for your greate help, I have found how to configure a customed expressions.
Related to the OnScreen Keyboard, Can I make it optional to be used?
Thank you and BRs.
Hey AN3 - glad you figured out expressions. I have attached a Word document anyway that shows a couple of examples. As for making the OnScreen keyboard optional. Hmm - it is a sign-in page so it is normally invoked from a URL.
Off the top of my head - one way to do it would be to have a realm based host check. If you find out based on registry settings or some other value that the user is coming from an "insecure" location (like a kiosk PC) then the remediation instructions could point to the OnScreen keyboard login URL.
Probably some other slick ways but I think they would involve HTML coding outside of the SSL box and I suck at that.
Thanks for your response, I understand your idea and of course it need some html code experience.
I'd like to thank you for your interest.
