I can connect to Pulse 5.3.3 easily through any wifi including phone hotspot, but as soon as I try via my home wifi,it fails. After clicking Connect, the login box says 'Connecting' but then it doesn't get any further. I've logged a call with my provider here in Singapore Singtel, but I'm awaiting a call back.
Make sure your home router supports VPN passthrough. There may be an option to turn this on in your router / wifi / firewall security settings if your router supports it. There could also be needed ports being blocked by your router / wifi / firewall. Review the logs and see if anything is being blocked when you try to connect.
You can try 'Network Reset' option if you're using Windows 10.
I too had the same problem and it got resolved with above trick.
