The company where I work provide us a VPN through SSL service to the company's network and then the possibility to use Remote Desktop Access to our workstations using the Juniper Terminal Services Client.
I have a little problem with this feature from home. My PC runs with Windows 7 Home Edition 64 bits and Internet Explorer 8 32 bits. I use a my PC with a Windows account that is configured as Administrator. No problem with the VPN through SSL authentication. I then launched the Remote Desktop Access. Then Juniper Network Setup Client asks me to install: I agree. I think there was another question (ActiveX Installation I believe) that I answer by Yes) but then the Juniper Terminal Services Client did not execute.
I have tried to uninstall Juniper Network Setup Client and then to do the whole connection process but still the same result: the Juniper Terminal Services Client does not execute.
Then I try to do the same thing but using another Windows account: the Grand Administrator account of Windows 7 Home Edition (the account that is hidden by default at Windows installation and that can be manually activated). Under this account, the Juniper Terminal Services Client correctly installs and executes and I can access to my company workstation.
I ask to some colleagues if they have encountered the same issue but they don't. And they don't use the Grand Administrator account of Windows: they use a Windows account configured as Administrator.
So maybe the first time I try to use Juniper Terminal Services Client under my Windows account (with Administrator rights), I believe I may have not correctly answer when one component of Juniper tried to install? But I am not sure, it's just an idea.
Can anyone provide me some help in order for me to get Juniper Terminal Services Client working under the Windows account I use to use?
Thanks for your help! Do not hesitate to ask me some information needed to solve the problem.
Up ! Really nobody to help me to find why Juniper Terminal Services Client does not install/start on one of my Windows 7 user account ?!
