Citrix Listed Applications - Desktop Viewer

Hi,

I have got the following problem with Citrix Listed Application on our SA with firmware 7.1R10:

Citrix Listed Apps are configured and working - I can start applications.

The problem is that the application is always started with the Desktop Viewer (we have Citrix Receiver 3.0.0.56410 installed), although we have configured "Launch Seamlessly" in the configuration profile.

We have a second Citrix Listed App configuration where the applications are started seamless (not with Desktop Viewer).
 Are there any hints where the problem could be?

Is the ICA config identical between systems?

Hi,

yes, the configs are the same, only the citrix server are different.

But I have double checked that all setting are configured exactly the same.

Also the published apllications options on the Citrix servers are the same. Resolution e.g. is set

to 1024 * 768. But when you start the application via juniper and have a look into the temporary ica

file which is startet, there is an resolution of 1280 * 1024 set, although in the citrix listed apps profile is

configured, that resolution is "defined by metaframe".

We are experiencing a similar issue right now, and have a JTAC ticket open for the issue, and the developer is still trying to figure it out.  JTAC is able to replicate on 7.0 and 7.2 versions.  I'll post here if/when we get a resolution.

Basically, for listed applications, settings not being enforced on the client.  Users connecting with legacy PNAgent clients are not having the issue.  7.2r4.

I would recommend opening a JTAC case with the two temporary ICA files included for evaluation
