Hi All,
I've searched the forums and the KB but didn't find the information needed.
We have a Citrix Farm (XenApp 4.5) and a Juniper SA25000 (6.5R1), all the applications published by XenApp work well through Juniper with JSAM.
But we have some users (that have some power to pressure the IT) that purchased the very first day an iPad and they want that we put the Citrix Receiver to work with our platform.
From Citrix side it's easy, a new specific site and a certificate, but as far as I searched we need a Citrix Access Gateway to securely publish this.
Is it possible to do this with our Juniper SA2500?
Thanks in advance for your support.
Regards,
CBento
Hi All,
Is this possible? Anyone?
Thanks,
CBento
Hi,
Sorry for this bitter words but what kind of community is Juniper running on here?
Is there anyone from Juniper looking at this posts?
I do understand that people like me using these forums may not have the answer, expertise, experience to response to my question, but if indeed someone from Juniper is moderating these forums a simple yes, no, maybe or RTFM would be cool.
We do have 2 Juniper appliances that we purchased, these were not free products.
Just my 2 cents.

Hi Cbento,
If the site only works with JSAM, then it would not work on the iPhone/iPad, as there is no JSAM for their OSes. JSAM relies on Java, which does not exist for the iPhoneOS.
The only support for the iPhone OS is for web rewrite. All other access methods are not supported.
Hi CBarcellos,
Thank you very much for your response.
I know that this is possible using a "Citrix Access Gateway" but we have 2 Junipers so buying a Citrix appliance is a no go.
Thanks again, maybe someone will find a way to publish content to Citrix receiver via a Juniper SSL appliance.
Cheers,
CBento
No probelm.
The iPhone 4.0 OS will have expanded support for Juniper SSL VPN see: http://www.apple.com/pr/library/2010/04/08iphoneos.html
This new feature might help you accomplish what you are looking to for. Unfortunately, the exact details of what's coming haven't been posted yet.
Hi CBarcellos,
Sorry for this late response.
Thanks once again.

Hi,
Has anyone had any luck with this? Some of our users are purchasing ipads expecting to connect to our Citrix farm.
I had a quick try with my iphone, but no success :-(
Any further ideas would be great.
Thanks,
scarlosz
Will the Citrix Receiver on iPad/iPhone work with the (hopefully) upcoming Pulse Client for iOS ?
CBento,
We are just now testing ipads in our environment and like you, we are using a Juniper SSL VPN to access Citrix published applications. Were you ever able to get this to work without publishing your Web Interface and CSG externally?
Thanks so much!
