Client cannot connect when connection profiles configured to use proxy PAC script

This configuration available in PCS

When i use option 1 connection works as expected, but when i use option 2 my pulse desktop client cannot connect
it keeps saying "waiting for connection" then "connecting" then back again to waiting (looping)

please advise

Hi,

If you have a support contract, you may want to open a case. There may be a different reasons why retrieving the PAC file vs. manually configuring the proxy server is having issues.

Have you verified the connectivity from PCS to the server with the PAC file? What about the PAC file itself, is it used successfully in other places?

What is the log message shown in the Pulse client logs?
What is the log message shown in the PCS user access log?
What does a TCP dump on the internal port show when it downloads the proxy?
