This sometimes happens when you "logout" of SSL VPN home page instead of using "Sign Out" in network connect options. you can also clear stale sessions by "refreshing all roles"

This is something that I have been dealing with for over a year now. Basically it came down to a training issue for us. Choosing "sign out on the web page only closes one layer of the network stack" If you right click the network connect icon and choose "sign out" then you close a different layer of the network stack. So basically they accomplish two different goals.

I thought this was an issue with the process cgi.exe that controlls users log in and log out sessions on the IVE

Re: Client session was showing in active user tab after user disconnect or logoff

If you are going to active users and seeing the username, but no NCIP address, this is the user session.  When the user signs into the SA device via web browser, this would be consider the user session.  When they launch NC, this will launch the tunnel session.

Most common problem is the end user will close the NC application (instead of clicking sign out).  If this occurs, user session will remain active until either idle timeout or max sessions is reached.  Please ensure end user are clicking sign out to proper close both the tunnel and user session.
