Connect to SAP system on Parallels 14 / Win 10

I have a current Mac with Parallels 14 installed.

Latest Win 10.

It is extremely unreliable to connect to the Pulse Secure Server, or more precesily I am not sure, that I am connected for sure in the first place. The connection is started by clicking on a web link (I use MS Edge), and then the Pulse Secure connect is supposed to be started.

Main problem, sometimes I have to try for hours (!) to connect my SAP Logon to the SAP server. I usually just keep repbooting my virtual machines, until it works all of the sudden.

Any ideas?

Are you using Pulse Client Layer-3 VPN tunnel or Application tunnel using WSAM?

Hello Ray,

how can I possibly tell? I can not post screen shots in this forum ;-(

I can look at the "Secure Application Manager", it simply says e.g. "Status: Connected" (when it is actually connected of course).

I can also see the log file. Shall I post that one?

Thanks for the info. WSAM with latest windows 10 version 1809 will not work (bug). Please try Pulse client and use the same VPN URL to connect, this flavour is called PSAM, will work without any inconsistencies. Smiley Happy

Do you have the Pulse application in your system tray that you can use to launch from instead of relying on Edge?
Is the SAP logon through Edge or another browser/application? If it is through Edge, WSAM cannot tunnel the traffic and an L3 tunnel will be needed
