Customizing the AD change password screen

We have AD change password requirements like the user can not use their x number of old password and the password has to be x characters etc.

is there a way i can put those instructions on the change password screen? i.e. after a user tries to login with an expired password the screen that tell you that your password has expired and it must be changed.

Also what about the change password screen in Preferences in the toolbar can i change that?

You can use custom sign-in pages to modify the "change password screen" for expired passwords(PasswordChange.thtml), but there doesn't appear to be any way to modify the "change password screen" under Preferences.

well the cstom sign in page says that it is only for LDAP now i know that AD is LDAP but have any one tried this and see if it works?

Just tested with an Active Directory Auth Server. See attached screenshot.
