We have an SGG-series firewall and 4-5 remote users, working 8-10 hours a day. Since Juniper, unlike Cisco, doesn't offer any free VPN client - Shrew + SSG is a complete junk, don't even mention it - I bought few NCP Juniper Edition clients for ~$90/user - another piece of crap client, a waste of money, I must say. Cannot deal with overlapping networks, cannot sustain a connection for longer periods, support couldn't solve Netbios-based DFS resolution and even the most basic things like proper monitoring is missing... kinda junk, period.
Since Juniper's support people are very nice and they really put in countless hours with me I am willing to give one LAST chance to Juniper before I throw out all this junk - SSG is probably the most awkward layout I've ever seen in firewall GUI, let alone in Chrome it doesn't even work through Juniper's own remote support client -, so please, someone tell me:
- will SA 2500 support MS DFS links - no, I'm not using full names becuase DFS, by default, uses Netbios names - and
- if it does where can I get a test unit before I invest a single cent more into this J-mess?
