Does Secure Access support full GWT technology ?

Hi,

When sometime I try to access this Google Web Toolkit (GWT) site: http://gwt.google.com/samples/DynaTable/DynaTable.html through SA appliance, I got an error message: An RPC server could not be reachedÓ

Same for the other site: http://www.whirled.com/#world-places

Which IVE OS are you running? Have you tried PTP (passthrough proxy)? What browser/browser version are you running? 

I'd recommend opening up a JTAC case for rewriter issues like this.

1) I test it on 2 IVE versions : 6.5R3.1 (buid 15255) and the last one: 7.0r4 (buid 17289)

2) I use IE8, Firefox and Google Chrome with same result (blank page refreshing)

3) The web proxy policy is: Access Directly *:*/* for debugging purpose.

Could anyone can test this url: http://www.whirled.com/ on his Secure Access appliance?

Error message is We are experiencing technical difficultiesÉÓ through SA.

Hi,

I tried those sites with the standard re-writer and also PTP, neither worked properly. I did see that we had fixed some issues on GWT in earlier versions. The newer versions that you and I tested already have these fixes so at this point it would be best to get a JTAC ticket started.

For the time being you can try using WSAM/JSAM or NC as a work around if needed.
