we have some web bookmarks and if someone click on the bookmark a rpc connection will be build up to the Domain controller or the exchanger Server. Dynamic ports between 1024 and ~5000 will be use by default. I allowed some ports on the firewall, but not the whole range.
How did you restrict dynamic RPC ports? How do you work around this problem?
The authentication server type is "active directory/windows nt" in our environment. Perhaps the problems based on this configuration?
