It is possible for the host checker (HC) to test for a running process.
I suppose that is what have been done here.
You can also do file and MD5 checks.
Its a little poor to expect us (and our user bases) to wait until Feb/March.
How much time and effort would this take? If we could get an explanation with regard to that, then it may make it easier to explain to users.
