Enforcing Mobile Security on connecting devices (iphones/ipads)

Hi All

Attempting to enforce MSS on mobile devices (iphones). Seems pretty straightforward. Simply check the "Enable Mobile Security Check" under the authentication realm's Host Checker settings, but it does not seem to work. I can successfully connect via pulse from my test iphone/ipad, which do NOT yet have the mobile sec suite installed (just Pulse). Am I missing something here.

Thanks

Trevor

yes, that is correct: the Mobile Security Check is not enforced on iOS; it is not possible to check this information. The check does an AV/quarantine look up, which is available only on Android.

You are welcome; thank you for putting in that request.

i don't think this is enabled for iOS yet.

What version of IVE OS are you using? Pulse Mobile? Do you have MSS installed on your Pulse Mobile for iOS as well?

mss is available for ios as of a couple of weeks ago and we have purchased a 25 device license for our deployment , but that's not the point.  our ios devices that DO NOT have mss installed can still connect even with the mss check enabled on the realm.  we running firmware 7.1 R5. Pulse 3 (both the most current)

thanks zanyterp

i've put in an enhancement request with Juniper to investigate it for iOS, though I am not sure if the iOS APIs provide for this ty[pe of check.
