Enhanced Malware Protection (WebRoot) concurrent user limit in v7????

We upgraded an SA2500 that is licensed for 25 concurrent users to 7R2. We were on R6.4R2. We used to use Whole Security. We activated the new Enhanced Malware protection and it seemed to work fine. this was a couple of weeks ago.

Today we had a problem when we had a half-dozen or so people connected at one time, which is unusual. When I tried to connect I got a warning page that we had exceeded the maximum number of concurrent users for the enhanced malware protection and I should try later.

Any guesses are greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Ray

If you liked the concept of the now deprecated Advanced Endpoint Defense Malware protection, you may want to try GEARS from OPSWAT.  GEARS utilizes OPSWAT’s Metascan® technology to scan devices for infected running processes using 40 cloud-based anti-malware engines.  Integration of GEARS to Host Checker is accomplished via a simple registry/process check described at https://gears.opswat.com/integration/secure-access and attached here.

A case study of GEARS used with Host Checker is at http://www.opswat.com/solutions/financial-services/juniper-networks-case-study
