External URLs in Domino Webmail

Hi,

I have a customer with an SA2500 (7.1R10) who is running Lotus Notes Webmail via the SSL box.

They want to be able to open links to external websites mentioned in mails.

I found a KB which describes how to configure this for Exchange.

Is there any equivalent configuration possible for Lotus Notes?

Thanks in advance for your feedback,

Kristof

Re: External URLs in Domino Webmail

Hi Kristof,

It is very hard to suggest until we know how the links look like

Are they straight external links in the email like http://www.google.com or if the link looks like https://dominomailserver:443/linktoexternal

I would recommend opening a case with JTAC as we do not have a document for lotus notes

Regards,

Jay

Re: External URLs in Domino Webmail

Hi Jay,

Links are like www.google.be ...

The reason why I posted it here is because I cannot get support from Juniper JTAC at the moment.

Kind regards,

K.

Re: External URLs in Domino Webmail

HI There,

The juniper should just rewrite the external links and display it to user, I do not know  if there is an issue with rewriting there

For the role, maybe you can set up a selective rewriting policy to rewrite all internal links and just below that do a selective rewrite policy for all resources *:*/* for that role as do not rewrite, redirect to target web server so all resources other than the internal resources go directly bypassing the rewrite engine

Jay
