File resource profile for DFS share results in error 76

If I use a direct share to \\fileserver\sharename things work well.  If I use \\DFS\sharename I get error 76.  I have a file acl allowing access for both the \\filerserver... and \\DFS... in the file resource profile.  Version 7.3R3.  Any help?

Do you have all DFS servers listed in your ACL?

Re: File resource profile for DFS share results in error 76

Yes.  Is there a way to say "allow all" and let Windows file permissions handle this?  Also, I'm not sure what to list in the various fields.  I'm using the same DFS share name in all places -

DFS share name = \\DFS\share

fields:  server share name, resource

I'm also including the domain\<USERNAME> in the login credentials.  Is that correct?

At Users>Resource Policies>File Browsing>Windows set a policy to \\*\*\*

Re: File resource profile for DFS share results in error 76

Thanks but I'm still not getting anywhere with this.  My initial file browsing policy is set to allow \\*\*\*.  My windows server credentials are set to login to the same file resource share (\\DFSname\sharename) with domain\<USERNAME>.  I've disabled windows file access control in the file resource profile (but I have tried using the same "allow \\*\*\*" there as well).  Any other ideas?

what does your TCPdump say when you look at it?

where are you seeing the error 76: as a user or in the user access log?
