Guacamole disconnects

Hello,

I have configured html5 rds functionality on a PSA3000 appliance with the latest firmware (8.2R3 (build 46007) for a customer, but they complain about reconnects, or not even able to connect from Mac OS using Safari and Firefox

I have tried it myself from my Windows10 with (Internet Explorer, Chrome and Firefox) and I also have some reconnects , but sometimes it seems to be stable and I can use the RDS session without problems.

Anyone with the same experiences?

What I also noticed is that when I do a html5 session to an ip-address (not a dns name), and this RDS server is not part of a RDS farm, then the connection is made without problems....

I doubt if it has something todo with dns and SSL Certificates on the concering RDS servers

Can you connect to an IP address against an RDS farm or can it only be when not in the farm?
If you have not already opened a case, please do, so we can work on testing this and see if we can replicate it.

It works but it's kind of hit and miss.

I use a Macbook and connect using Chrome and then HTML5 RDP to a Windows 8 box and it mostly connects and is fine, but sometimes it randomly disconnects and I have to reconnect Guacamole.

The connection to the portal and other internet sites is fine at all times.

I having the same issue I think. Initially HTML5 RDP bookmarks worked, after a couple days it's failing prompting to reconnect. All server are standalone.

I am using the same release that are SE said was Stable. 8.2R3. Rebooted, but the HTML5 RDP disconnect (never connects, just stops and displays 'reconnecting' ). The HTML5 RDP problem persists. It was nice when it worked! Wondering if you need a license for it.

I did start testing encryption levels (choices) in the bookmark. That seemed to get around the problem. Tried RDP encyption, then tls , and nls. That "UN STUCK" the connection error !!! (disconnects). Is there an open issue with encryption level and HTML5 Guacamole Profiles? Something is up.

Update: after fixing my first IVE unit of this encryption level problem. The 2nd IVE still had the replica table issue. As soon as I turned on, re Checked the 'Warn on certificate problems box'. The problem was resolved. Did this one at a time on my 3 bookmarks. I had disabled "Warn on certificate problems" earlier. FYR's . That resolved it - buggy possibly.

Hi Arnet,
So what was the final setting that stopped the arbitrary disconnections?
Unfortunately, html5 does not work for us unless encryption is set to "standard RDP encryption". This might be because we do not use the same credentials to login to vpn that will be used to connect via RDP.
