Hello,
two weeks ago we upgradeed our two PSA5000 (8.3R7) by two PSA7000, running 9.1R5. Since then our Apple Users complain, that the Host Checker is not running reliable anymore.
Very often it crashes right after start and the user is not able to log in via web browser.
I checked several user computers and it seems, that the crashes does not depend on the used MacOS version. We see crashes on 10.11, 10.13, 10.14 and 10.15.
Strangly, the HC does not crash everytime. Sometimes the user can start over the login process several times without any issues. And on next day (or after next reboot), the HC crashes on nearly every try. As an example, here is a crash log.

On our old PSA5000, running 8.3R7, we had no such issues.
Does anyone else experiencing such problems with MacOS and HC?
Regards,
Marc
Please open a support ticket with us to debug this issue further, which would give us an oppurtunity to raise a bug report with our development team.
Hi Ray,
I already did last week. I will post if there are anything new about this.
Till now no new info about this case.
I now tested this on our old PSA5000, which was running 8.3R7.1 and where the HC never had problems on MacOS. I updated it to 9.1R6 and...voila...HC now crashes on MacOS, too.
But I wonder that nobody else seem to have any problems with the HC on MacOS?
So I tested whether it might has something to do with the regional settings and changed my Test-Mac to US, but that did not solve the problem.
It is really strange.
Is it working when you connect to VPN using Pulse Client?
