My one customer had a couple of questions with regards to setting up SNMP on a SA6500 and we were able to assist him in setting up SNMP on the main (Global) IVE.
Ok, so it works perfectly, but that is not what he needs/requires.
The thing is, they are an ISP and want to deploy their SA6500 to all their end customers that use them as an ISP. Basically small to mid sized companies each having their own SSL Appliance that is centrally managed at the ISP.
So,they have setup their SA6500 with a whole bunch of Virtual IVE's, basically one IVE per customer and they want to enable SNMP on some of the Virtual IVE's and not globally.
Is it possible to configure SNMP per Virtual IVE ?
If at all possible, how do you do it, because there is no place on a Virtual IVE where you can set it ?
