Hi All,
Is there a way to make the host checker assign a roll based on the source IP address. The reason I ask is because we want to use the Host Checker to turn the Gina on and off. I had a call with Juniper about this and they suggested that the Host Checker was the way to go.
We have internal IP ranges of 10.32.x.x to 10.35.x.x and for that address range the Gina should be disabled or removed. For all other addresses i.e. external addresses the Gina should install on 1st use and then be available for subsequent logins on that machine so long as the user stays "Off Site". On returning to site the Gina would be disabled / uninstalled.
I am struggleing to see the way to detect the the source IP address in the host checker, what am I missing?
Ideas anyone.
Regards
Dave
Solved! Go to Solution.
I'm not sure if this can be done via Host Checker, but you could use the Role Mapping page under Realms to map via source-ip..
Use Custom Expressions under the realms role mapping settings, and there is an option there to use source-ip
Hope it helps

nroxburgh,
Not sure how I MISSED that. What a great method, role mapping and Source IP in one go.
Thank you very much.
