IPv6 support for Layer 3 VPN access method in Junos Pulse 4.0 and Pulse Secure Access Service 7.4

Junos Pulse 4.0 and Pulse Secure Access Service 7.4 have been enhanced so that today, end users are now able to access IPv6 resourcesÑalong with IPv4 resourcesÑfrom an IPv4 network, by simply using Junos Pulse to access Junos Pulse Secure Access Service 7.4.

Let us know if there are any questions around this and we will be happy to answer them.

Hi, Ron,

Any idea of when this was released?

How does this software handle, e.g., bogus RA messages (e.g. including

more-specific routes)?

Finally, is it possible to post this info to the ipv6hackers list?

Cheers,

Fernando

Hi,

7.4r1 was published on our support site on 17 feb 2013.

Rouge route adverstisement mitigtion is done on the switches and routers by using ACL's etc.

Thanks,
