Internal SSL resource no connection possible

Hello,

we have an internal https resource with certificate from our internal root authority.
When we try to open this website, we get the following error message:

Cannot establish a secure connection to the URL. Check if this connection requires 'http:' instead of 'https:'. If the problem persists, contact your system administrator. Made https request for GET /adfs/ls/IdpInitiatedSignon.aspx HTTP/1.1 adfs.domain.local:443.

The root certificate is already added to Trusted Server CA's.

We have other websites where this is working without any problem.

Anyone a tip for us how to fix this?

Regards,
Marco

Re: Internal SSL resource no connection possible

Are you needing to do SAML SSO to that resource?
Is there a non-SAML SSO URL that can be tested on that server?
Do you have SNI enabled on the server?

Re: Internal SSL resource no connection possible

Hello,

The resource is a ADFS 3.0 Server with activated SNI. We have disabled it and now it works.

Many thanks!

Re: Internal SSL resource no connection possible

Thank you for the update; I am glad it works after disabling SNI
I would recommend you contact your account team and ask them to put in an enhancement for SNI support with SAML authentication (and general rewrite access)
