Internal state error occurred.....

I have a Windows 7 64-bit laptop, which has the Pulse Secure Terminal Services client installed on it. When trying to connect to my work PC (WIndows 7 64-bit):

I get the "An internal state error has occurred. the remote session will be disconnected. your local computer might be low on memory. close some programs, and then try connecting to the remote computer again."

There's plenty of memory on the PC, and most of it isn't utilized. I'm not sure what's going on.

Anyone have any suggestions on what to try?

Thanks.

Re: Internal state error occurred.....

Hi - Can you try searching kb.pulsesecure.net , top of my head I recollect there was a known issue that resulted in this error which was resolved in newer versions (to upgrade to newer versions you have to contact your IT team that manage the PCS gateway)

In addition to what Ruc said, this message is shown when the machine you are connecting to is not in the ACL defined on the bookmark.
If you are the admin, can you check if there is an access denied message? Can a reboot be scheduled to see if that fixes the issue?

The only thing I see in the logs are:

Primary authentication successful for userX from IP x
and
Login succeeded for userX from IP x

No errors

I realise this is an old post but I just wanted to add some comments on how we fixed this error message.

This is the error message that we received when we hadn't turned on Remote Desktop in Windows 10. Once we did this the connection went through fine.
