Is there a license in the juniper site? (SA series)

I have a SA 700, SA 1000, SA 2000

When I entered UI, I recognized whether it had latest license or not.

So I searched site and google.

I didn't search what I want to. So I posted my word in this forum.

Nowadays Security problem is point issue, right?

So As I think... latest license is important thing. that is, people always use latest license.

I am really wondering following below issue.

Juniper networks is updating the license?

If right, can I buy license NO free of charge?

Please reply to my word...

Regards,

Re: Is there a license in the juniper site? (SA series)

Sorry I misunderstood the question. I'm not sure now what you are looking for.

With the SA series of this generation:

You purchase the hardware

You purchase a permanent license fo the number of concurrent connected users (these never expire)

You purchase a support contract that gives you access to firmware upgrades; hardware support tickets; hardware replaceemnt for failures; these are for terms of 1, 3 or 5 years at a time

Per your list some of the devices are now end of support, meaning you can no longer purchase the support contract and new firmware is no longer developed. Your only option is to keep running them as they are.

For the supported devices you can open a Customer care case to ask if there is a current support contract on the device and get the account updated to your information if it is in place.

If there is no contract you contact a reseller as I mentioned above and go through the process to reinstate support for the device.

Re: Is there a license in the juniper site? (SA series)

Some of the models you listed are no longer supported as they have past the last day that support can be had. Others are still inside the support window.

You need to contact a Juniper reseller to activate support. If support was not maintained and lapsed there is a process to reinstate support and purchase a new contract.
