Great. All of the Apple fanboys at the office are hounding me about this. Does anyone know any details about Pulse? Will it be as simple as running the latest code on the SA while having the end user run this app?
Actually met with our Juniper SE yesterday, 7.x has pulse functionality, but of course, requires a license....
Hey guy, We are running a sa4500 7.0R2 and we have iphone and ipad users connecting with the pulse client. This didn't require any license other than the concurrent connection license. You may want to clarify with your SE. From my understanding Juniper used to have a connection license and an additional NetworkConnect license. Our SE explained that the NC clients has gone away and all client types use a concurrent connection license now.
The issues with Pulse and licensing have to do with the new Mobile Security Suite. That WILL require a license - Pulse does not. Checked into this extensively cause I was having a bunch of arguments with Juniper Sales guys about it.
Yes that is exactly true, the new mobile security platform is licnese based but not PULSE for connecting back to your SA.
