Hi all,
I'm facing problems with one particular laptop after IVE login. After the JSAM window comes up (message: loading, please wait...) another window with title "Not supported Java Virtual Machine" shows up listing the requirements of JSAM. It also tries to identify the java version on the laptop but doesn't succeed. It shows only "N/A". However, the JSAM window keeps showing "Loading, please wait" and nothing happens.
I'm not too sure what the user did last but he surely ran windows update. I found IE7 installed on the system which I've removed already. Java version was actually OK, however I've removed it and tried it with versions 1.4.2_06 and currently 1.6.0_06. Same error as described above with both versions.
Anybody got an idea what to do?
Cheers,
flo
PS. device is SA-2000 running 5.4R3 (build 11621)
Solved! Go to Solution.
Ok, I've now solved the problem:
1. Goto Control Panel >> Java >> Advanced tab
2. Under "Default Java for browsers" uncheck all
3. Click OK - open and close IE
4. Go to above mentioned tab and check all browsers
5. Test accessing the IVE, it should be fine now.
The above steps apply to Java version 6 update 6 (build 1.6.0_06-b02)
