Juniper Installer Service

Hi,

When installed this app used to have Neoterissetupservice.exe running in memory.

When I now install this from a 6.3 IVE on a laptop I dont see this listed.

Has the app changed in this respect? I curious because I want to be certain that it is running users' new laptop build and i can't get a definitive answer from the support guys!!

Hi,

I checked the Client-Side Changes Guides and I see this changed in the 6.2 release. The 6.1 guide has:

"Juniper Installer Service

When installing a Windows-based IVE client application on a userÕs Windows

system, the Juniper Installer Service deploys two files on the client machine:

* JuniperSetup.ocx

* NeoterisSetupService.exe (The IVE auto-starts this service on installation, then stops and removes it on uninstall.)"

While in the 6.2 Guide it states:

"Juniper Installer Service * JuniperSetup.ocx then stops and removes it on uninstall.)"
