Now, I have been hunting high and low to find an answer, but it never seems to be that straight forward. Basically, we are working with a 3rd Party company to provide Juniper SA publishing of VMWare View and SharePoint/OWA etc. We have a big issue in that we are not able to open/edit/checkout/create documents in the SHarePoint Sites published via the Juniper. From what I have read this is supported with the Web Re-Write function? What is slightly confusing is that there are also Juniper documents which state that open/edit/create etc documents ISNT supported if you are running the Secure Access Service as part of the Juniper deployment? So, if a user has to authenticate to Juniper then the ability to open etc documents through the SHarePoint Resource / publication isnt possible? Is that correct? Our problem is that the Office application (Word/Excel etc) just complains that it either cant find the template (if creating a new document) or that the file you are trying to open doesn't exist? Any help would be great. Thanks.
Are you using Silverlight in the browser? Do you see a difference without it installed?
That combination should work; however, it sounds like an issue that you should work out with JTAC and your partner to confirm behavior.
We had issues opening (from MSWord file->recent) and checking in/out documents from SP2010 using the rewriter. After much troubleshooting and involving JTAC we decided to configure SP2010 via pass through proxy (PTP). Needs some configuration and multiple IP addresses with certificates, but in the end functions much better from the end user perspective. Nice thing is that you're still able to do SSO with PTP.
Hope this helps
Hi, we are using SharePoint 2010, with Windows 7 clients and IE9. As said, we arent the 'owners' of the Juniper but are trying to gather some facts about supported functionality. The Juniper IOS 7.2R3. Thanks for any help.
Can anyone please offer any help with this at all?
Thanks
What version of Sharepoint are you using? What version of Windows? IE? IVE OS?
Have you met all the caveats listed in the release notes and admin guide?
