Junos Pulse Client on Windows

We are having an issue that when we log out of the web interface the Junos Pulse client continues to try and connect. It eventually fails, but this is causing issues because it pops up on the screen and is an annoyance to our users.

network Connect would close and not try to connect after logging out, but Pulse will not work that way. We have a MAG 4610 running 7.3 R2 and the latest pulse client on Windows OS.

Any thoughts or solutions?

Yes, that is the current correct behavior. It is being evaluated for a change in the future; however, all current versions will still try to connect after you sign out via the web

Well that stinks for our users doesn't it.

Maybe Network Connect is a better course of action

Re: Junos Pulse Client on Windows

Right now, yes, to avoid the reconnect on the Pulse client for the VPN if you sign out from the web. Or, depending on your users, a one-time pain point and then from then on login through the Pulse application on the system tray directly. Granted, this wonÕt work in all instances. But that is one of the reasons a resolution for this behavior is being tracked (in addition to the overall poor user experience for that and the inability to provide users web bookmarks if used).
