for some reason, after a Junos 3.0 upgrade to 5.0 we are getting the following error message.
We are using JunosPulse-5.0.48695
After connecting to our HYperras server, it asks for password, and we get "Securing Connection" for two or three minutes, and then I get this error message.
I tried to delete any Junos component from windows, did a fresh reinstall, and I am able to ping the server.
Have you seen this error message before?
Hello thanks for your reply,
Oh ok, Wrong Section/Forum, could you please move this to the right Forum? or May I know where should I open a new topic?
This is a Windows 7 x64 machine.
I'm attaching the logs generated by Pulse:
This problem is mainly caused by the OS denying JP's unsigned drivers. By the way, if yougo to device manager, you should see a yellow exclamation sign on "Juniper Networks Virtual Adapter Manager"
For Windows 7, the solution is:
- Uninstall Junos Pulse.
- Reboot and enter windows boot options but instead of choosing safe mode you have to select "Disable Driver Signature Enforcement".
- Reinstall Junos Pulse
This time Windows will not deny the installation of JP drivers and once the connection is launched you should not have that error.
N.B. Other causes include the third party firewall software that blocks the installation or the launch of the virtual adapter.
Solution: disabling the firewall for some minutes and trying the connexion with JP.
I am facing similar issue on Windows 8.1 and I have latest Nortan anti-virus.
My device driver has no error or warning for "Juniper Networks Virtual Adapter Manager".
I tried the solution mentioned in this post, but still getting same error.
Please see my attached log file and help me to resolve this ASAP.
Thank you in advance
With Windows 8.1, I usually go with Junos Pulse In-Box. You don't need to install the standalone application; just configure a VPN in the network settings and choose Juniper Networks Junos Pulse as provider. Don't forget to uninstall the Junos Pulse application before setting your VPN.
