Junos Pulse - Error 1205 Failed to setup virtual adapter

Hi,

for some reason, after a Junos 3.0 upgrade to 5.0 we are getting the following error message.

We are using JunosPulse-5.0.48695

After connecting to our HYperras server, it asks for password, and we get "Securing Connection" for two or three minutes, and then I get this error message.

I tried to delete any Junos component from windows, did a fresh reinstall, and I am able to ping the server.

Have you seen this error message before?

Re: Junos Pulse - Error 1205 Failed to setup virtual adapter

This problem is mainly caused by the OS denying JP's unsigned drivers. By the way, if yougo to device manager, you should see a yellow exclamation sign on "Juniper Networks Virtual Adapter Manager"

For Windows 7, the solution is:

- Uninstall Junos Pulse.

- Reboot and enter windows boot options but instead of choosing safe mode you have to select "Disable Driver Signature Enforcement".

- Reinstall Junos Pulse

This time Windows will not deny the installation of JP drivers and once the connection is launched you should not have that error.

N.B. Other causes include the third party firewall software that blocks the installation or the launch of the virtual adapter.

Solution: disabling the firewall for some minutes and trying the connexion with JP.

Re: Junos Pulse - Error 1205 Failed to setup virtual adapter

I am facing similar issue on Windows 8.1 and I have latest Nortan anti-virus.

My device driver has no error or warning for "Juniper Networks Virtual Adapter Manager".

I tried the solution mentioned in this post, but still getting same error.

Please see my attached log file and help me to resolve this ASAP.

Thank you in advance

Re: Junos Pulse - Error 1205 Failed to setup virtual adapter

With Windows 8.1, I usually go with Junos Pulse In-Box. You don't need to install the standalone application; just configure a VPN in the network settings and choose Juniper Networks Junos Pulse as provider. Don't forget to uninstall the Junos Pulse application before setting your VPN.

Re: Junos Pulse - Error 1205 Failed to setup virtual adapter

I'm getting the error 1205 on some computers with Windows 7.
- IDS Symantec Endpoint Protection
- Reinstalled network adapter driver Intel n6235 and n6230.
- Disabled the driver signing in Windows Safe Mode and re-installed the 5.1.4 version of the pulse secure unsuccessful.

Before all !!! you need to remove the Pulse software - after reboot PC at F8 prompt you "Disable Driver Signature Enforcement".
You reinstall Pulse and check if the adpater have the same issue in MAnage if so when trying to establish the connection in Manage wait for the Check mark when so just uninstall the drivers and it will reinstall itself and you will be able to mount the VPN .

It work for ma I ahve about 20, 000 users usng this apps
