When will Server 2008 R2 sp 1 & sp2 be an available option under Endpoint security/ Host checker/ Allowed Windows Versions?

Hello David,

I check the latest build and there is no check for SP for Windows Server 2008.  I would recommend filing an ER for this request.  I'll discuss this internally as well to see what I can do to help get this added in the future.

You may be able to work around this using a registry key check until it is available as a selection.  You will just have to find one that changes or only exists on install of the SP.

Already discussed the subject with some customers: there is no reason that a 2008 server should be used as an endpoint for me.

So I guess the only solution is to check other parameters as suggested by Steve

I would venture that these will not be listed as pre-defined optima because they are not supported endpoint clients. To have this re-evaluated, please work with your account team for an enhancement request
