Junos Pulse on IVS

Hi,

After upgrading our SA4500 to 7.0 R2 I noticed that the Junos Pulse option appeared as expected in the root IVS, but not in child IVSs.

A quick Google shows me "Please note that IVS will not support Junos Pulse" on the current IVS license data sheet. Does anyone else know about this statement - surely this is just a current status and not a statement that Junos Pulse will never be supported with IVS? At the moment we are doing OK without it but I'm sure we will see demand for it in the future.

I've been told by my account team that there will be no new development for IVS's. So, no Pulse, no NSM provisioning, no whatever the next enhancement is. Their recommendation is to move to the VMware-based solution. I'd be interested to see what your account team tells you.

I am so happy to read that IVS does not support Pulse.

Checkpoint are waiting for this kind of option to replace the IVE with their product.
