LDAP String Problem

I am setting up an LDAP authentication to AD of course. When I enter dc=blah,dc=net in the base DN for the Group membership or the "Finding User entries" I am getting the message " Error: Invalid group Base DN or group Filter" So Pulse secure, what is wrong with my syntax?

The error goes away if I enclose the string in but it doesn't work.
