Landing Page While Using Network Connect

In our deployment, Network Connect is launched automatically when users login to SSL-VPN. The landing web page is also displayed, which contains links to bookmarks, RDP etc. Suppose the user closes the landing page,, they lose the ability to get back to it again. On Win XP, there is a feature to launch a browser and go back to the SSL-VPN landing page (by clicking on the NC taskbar). However, this is broken for Windows Vista and above and we cannot rely on that.

My question is, has anyone found a way to get the users back on the landing page if they close it down by mistake or even intentionally?

Thanks

Srini

Re: Landing Page While Using Network Connect

The only way for users to have the bookmarks again is to re-login. In order to reduce stress on users, you will probably want to enable persistent sessions on the roles. The reason for this is to allow users to connect from an authenticated session and not re-login & have Network Connect launch again.

The "new secure gateway" option you are referring to has been removed for Windows Vista and later due to MS policy changes that do not allow this to occur. It is expected/normal/correct behaior on the new OSes.
